INTENT:OUTTAKE’s new album will also mark a new beginning in the dark electro band’s remarkable career.

Firstly, they have decided to leave their old Leipzig based label Sonix-X with whom they collaborated successfully and cordially since the beginning and work with Dark Dimensions Labelgroup in the future. Furthermore, they are going to work with the booking agency NoCut Entertainment.

So the course for a successful future is definitely set. Although the band has been an integral part of the scene for years and their shows have attracted many dance-obsessed visitors.

When looking back on their career, there are days or moments that a band will always cherish as special and remember as crucial for their future. For the two musicians in INTENT:OUTTAKE one of these days was 8 June 2014, the day of their first gig at K3 Lounge in Leipzig as one of the side events during Wave Gotik Treffen. Another remarkable date was the release date of their first full album “Wake Up Call” about half a year later on 16 January 2015. However, “Wake up Call“ was not only the name of the album- it has become their motto, the utmost musical concern of Bastian and Andreas: they want to literally wake people up and make them think.

The ingredients for their wake up recipe are danceable electronic beats with lyrics accusing that part of society that will not understand- probably not even when it is too late- that excessive greed will destroy mankind. Be it Bastian‘s baritone voice or the shouts they employ to make their songs more diversified- INTENT:OUTTAKE always know how to get this important message across and hold a mirror to society- using both English and German lyrics.

With seven releases, among them three full-length albums, Bastian and Andreas kept dancers on the club floors busy and their singles and albums in top positions in the German Alternative Charts (DAC) - with their last studio album they even greeted their fans from the pole position.

Due to the topics covered the songs convey a pensive, somber mood but are nonetheless suitable for the dancefloor, always true to the band’s creed:dancing to protest.
The visual realisation of their dystopic songs is very important to Bastian and Andreas and manifests itself both in their live shows but also in their music videos. Since INTENT:OUTTAKE was formed their own Youtube-Channel has attracted many followers and gained momentum ever since.
